Online couponing

I already wrote about my love for coupons delivered to your door via the newspaper, but there is a whole other world of couponing out there on the web.

I have limited experience with online coupons, and I don’t really like printing out coupons. (How much are you really saving if you have to spend money on all the colored ink?) But there are some great deals to be had online.

If you’re looking for a specific deal, hotcouponworld.com is the place to go. You can search the online database for all kinds of coupons that can be found online, in stores and newspaper inserts.

For online shoppers, retailmenot.com and freeshipping.org can clue you in to free shipping and other discount codes. If you’re buying anything online, check them out first to see if you can save an extra buck or two.

Since I’m clearly not an expert, the blog Couponing 101 has the best beginner’s guide I’ve seen. The best tip — e-mail the manufacturer of the products you use most often telling them how much you enjoy their stuff, and chances are they will send you some coupons without even having to be asked!
