R.I.P.Officer Malcus Williams, We Honor and Appreciate you

“All people, no matter their station in life, deserve to be treated with dignity.” May we all remember your motto and life theme. R.I.P. Officer Malcus Williams. You were and are honored/respected/loved by everyone whose lives you touched.

Your daughters received a standing ovation with their beautiful singing of your favorite song, “Colors of the Wind” today at your Celebration of Life. The bagpipers brought countless tears with their exemplary “Amazing Grace” and your law enforcement brothers and sisters gave a beautiful display of honor and respect. Your friends opened our eyes to your amazing, dedicated life for 51 years.

Thank you for walking your talk and living to the fullest in service of others. “As minority police officers, we must be forgiving, we must be positive role models and above all else, we must strive to elevate the comfort level for everyone in our community everyday, irrespective of their ethnicity, gender or economic status.” When I saw a homeless man attending your Life Celebration, it was acknowledgment of your goodness.

You have inspired many to live with integrity. You are a testament to creating a full hearted life experience. May we all benefit from your example and create aging journeys that become fulfilling.
