HAIKU MONDAY: On the Alaska Hangover.

Welcome back to Haiku Monday, where Fish Hack is still trying to wean himself off Alaska. But it’s not working, and posting more stories and videos of the experience surely isn’t helping.

Can’t shake Alaska./Too much fun. Can’t walk away./Relive it in vids.

For you few Haiku Monday virgins, this is when and where Fish Hack waxes on and off non-Brazilian style about the outdoors and whatever, with a few pieces of bad Japanese poetry tossed in for the hell of it.

It’s the schtick that keeps on schticking.

And so is the Alaskan Experience.

Friday’s Oregon Outdoors featured a piece on fly-fishing Dolly Vardens amid spawning sockeyes. Check it out HERE.

Can’t walk 20 paces in the gym without someone talking about these articles, blogs and videos.

Thought I could shake it today. Then bud Brett Prettyman from Salt Lake City posts yet another video, albeit short, on one of our helicopter-in fly-fishing days.

This time, the pilot lands his bird on a gravel bar about the size of a Cheez-It, then takes off.

Check it out on my Facebook page.

Helo fly-fishing/Ruins Fish Hack’s home waters./Gotta shake this thing.
