BOOK IT! Friday: How Old Prophilactics and Roadkill Sweeten a Football Blog

Back again at BOOK IT! Friday, where Fish Hack remains in uncharted waters…under .500.

At 2-4 so far this season, it’s time to get the stink out of the boat with a 3-0 weekend.

First, loving the Giants at Carolina in a pick-it game. The G-Men are top-to-bottom better than Carolina, especially since the Panthers line can be trusted to protect Cam Newton as well as a prophilactic past its pull-date. Eli, however, will remain erect and pick apart that suspect Panther secondary. Take the Giants.

Green Bay’s laying 2.5 points to a disappointing Bengals team in Cincy. These Packers are looking more balanced and as for real as their last title run…at least until their traditional triage gets set up on the sideline. Pack’s a good bet home or away until the players start falling. Lay the points.

And finally, Denver at home against Oakland on Monday Night won’t be much of a game, but Fish Hack will make money on it one way or the other by watching it while at work. Fifteen points might be a big lay, but Oakland is as successful on the road as that flattened chipmunk near the center stripe.

Lay the points, and consider adding the over-49 in a parlay.
