A reader wondered when we’d have preview stories and capsules for Southwest Conference baseball and softball and Southern Sky Conference softball. They are in the works and will run before the league openers. In the case of SSC softball, that’s tomorrow, when defending league champ Ashland visits defending Class 5A state champ Crater for a noon doubleheader. The SWC preview will run early next week. We already had the SSC baseball (March 30) because Crater and Eagle Point scheduled a very early league game.
