Mustangs open with 6-0 triumph
Two-time defending champion Medford won its American Legion AAA state tournament opener this morning, downing Northwest Star Academy 6-0 at Hansen Stadium in Corvallis.

Roseburg wins championship
Roseburg Pepsi defeats the Salem Senators, 8-4, at North Medford High and is crowned the American Legion A State Tournament champion. Micah Audiss of Roseburg is named the tournament most valuable player. Pepsi advances to the Norhwest Regional next week.

The Salem Senators outslugged Roseburg Pepsi, 22-16, in the American Legion A State Tournament Monday at North Medford High.
