In the better-safe-than-sorry category, the Southern Oregon Runners have canceled the second in a series of four cross country races Tuesday night at Bear Creak Park Amphitheater. The temperature will be too hot to do much of anything, let alone run a 5K or 2K. If you are out, drinks lots of water and find shade whenever possible. Or, do like the runners and save it for another day.
