Kelly gains honor from CBS site

Oregon coach Chip Kelly wouldn’t seem to be a front-runner for national coach of the year, given the seasons that TCU, Cincinnati and Boise State had. But he was put in the spotlight at the beginning of the year — and put there in a bad light because one of his players punched an opponent on national TV. But first-year coach Kelly is given a lot of credit for how the Rose Bowl-bound Ducks responded.

CBSsporstline.com made him its coach of the year for his efforts.
