Prewitt, a 24-year-old Klamath Falls native with ties to the Rogue Valley, was selected to represent the U.S. Marine Corps as an MMA fighter after serving as a military SWAT team leader, a scout sniper team leader with the 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment and as a sergeant who served in Iraq.

Prewitt competed in wrestling, football and track and field at Henley High, where he graduated in 2004.

After returning home from Iraq in October 2008, Prewitt was selected to compete on the Marine Corps’ submission wrestling team. He later participated in former UFC referee Big John McCarthy’s fight team tryouts in Valencia, Calif., where he was chosen second to The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 cast member Joseph “Leonidas” Henle.

Prewitt, who is sponsored primarily by Conquest MMA, went on to win two MMA fights, the U.S. Armed Forces Pankration Championship and numerous grappling and pankration tournaments on the West Coast.

Prewitt was featured in seven episodes of the VH1 reality television series Tough Love 2. He’ll return to Hollywood to be filmed in an episode of Baggage with Jerry Springer in May.
