Jason Allred shot a second-round 68 today to climb to a tie for 27th place in the Nationwide Tour’s Pacific Rubiales Colombia Championship.
The 3-under-par round at Country Club de Bogota by the 31-year-old Ashland native came on the heels of an opening 73. He’s 1 under for the tournament, and the projected cut for the weekend is 1 over.
Allred one of the earliest tee times, and some 40 players had yet to tee off at the time he finished his round, which included four birdies and one bogey. He started on the 10th hole.
Allred is on a major tour for the first time since 2008, when he competed on the PGA Tour.
